If you chose not to keep what is left of the candle as an environmental sculpture, you can easily heat a double boiler "Bain Marie" and also put water in the inner pot together with the remaining lump.
Gravity will already do the job and after the wax melts, it will float, and the stones will sink because they are stones. Turn off the heat and let the wax harden in the form of a disk above the water.
Do not wash the wax in the sink, it will clog you.
