- Place the candle on a suitable candle holder/in a bowl/or on a heat-resistant surface
- Make sure the candle is clean of dust in the upper part - wipe it with a cloth when necessary
- Make sure the wick is 5 mm to 1 cm long - crimp it when necessary
- Place the candle as straight as possible to ensure even burning
- It is recommended to light the candles in a small vessel that will allow the formation of a combustion pool when the candle reaches its end or when it comes to small candles
- Cast candles should burn for at least 3 hours each time they are lit in order to burn evenly. Do not turn on and off a cast candle if a pool has not yet been formed
- Molded candles need "alignment towards the center", gently push the sides inward if a channel is formed
- If a cast candle starts to ooze from the sides, turn it off and let it cool
- Do not leave a lit candle near a window, unattended or near children and animals
